WOW Media Productions (Pvt) Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") operates the WOWLife+ mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App.

By using WOWLife+, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect :

We collect information that is necessary to operate the App, deliver features you request, maintain security, and improve stability.

2.1 Information You Provide

We may collect the following information when you use the App:

  • Email Address | used for account creation, authentication, account communication, and support

  • Name / Display Name | used for your profile and app functionality, if provided

  • User ID / Account ID | used to identify and manage your account

  • Profile Information | such as optional profile photo or display preferences

  • Customer Support Information | information you submit when contacting support

  • Other User Content | such as WOW AI prompts, devotional inputs, quiz responses, progress data, and other content you actively submit through the App

2.2 Information Collected Through App Use

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Watch History / Viewing Progress | to support content continuity and personalization

  • Quiz and Devotional Progress | to track your activity, streaks, and learning journey

  • Fitness Data | if you use WOW Move or related features

  • Purchase History / Subscription Status | to verify premium access and manage paid features

  • Device Information | such as device-related technical identifiers needed for app functionality

  • Crash Data and Performance Data | to diagnose bugs, improve stability, and support the App

  • Push Notification Preferences | to send notifications you have chosen to receive

2.3 Voice and Microphone Data

If you choose to use WOW AI voice features, the App may access your device's microphone to capture your spoken input so that the feature can work.

  • Voice input may be processed by third-party AI providers, including Open AI, to generate a response.

  • We do not intentionally store raw audio recordings in your account or our own app database.

  • We do not intentionally store voice transcripts in your account or our own app database.

  • Voice processing may occur transiently in order to fulfill your request.

2.4 Payment Information

Subscriptions are handled through Apple's in-app purchase system. Donations or other eligible payments may be processed through payment providers such as Stripe and Apple Pay.

We do not store your full payment card number or bank account details in our own systems.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Authenticate you and keep the App secure

  • Provide video streaming, live streaming, devotionals, quizzes, WOW Move, and AI features

  • Personalize certain features and content within the App

  • Verify premium subscription access

  • Process eligible donations and payments

  • Respond to support requests

  • Send push notifications you have opted into

  • Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, fraud, misuse, or technical issues

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app performance and stability

4. AI Features & Data Processing

WOWLife+ includes AI-powered features such as Ask WOW, AI devotional features, playlists, assistants, and voice-based AI interactions.

4.1 Text-Based AI Features

When you use WOW AI text features, the prompts or questions you submit may be processed by third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, in order to generate responses.

4.2 Voice AI Features

When you use voice mode, your voice input may be processed by third-party AI providers in order to convert speech, understand your request, and generate a response.

As noted above:

  • We do not intentionally store raw audio recordings in your account or our own app database

  • We do not intentionally store voice transcripts in your account or our own app database

When you use WOW AI text features, the prompts or questions you submit may be processed by third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, in order to generate responses.

4.3 AI Safety and Moderation

We may apply moderation, filtering, or safety controls to AI inputs and outputs to help keep the experience safe and appropriate.

4.4 No Training by Us

We do not use your personal data to train our own AI models.

5. Tracking and Advertising

WOWLife+ is not an advertising app.

  • We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

  • We do not share your data with data brokers.

  • We do not use your data for cross-app or cross-site tracking for targeted advertising.

We may use limited diagnostic and technical data for app functionality, stability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to help operate the App. Depending on the features you use, your information may be processed by these providers:

  • Firebase / Google | authentication, database services, notifications, crash reporting, and related backend services

  • Apple | Sign in with Apple, subscriptions, in-app purchases, device-level platform services

  • Google Sign-In | account sign-in

  • Vimeo | video hosting, delivery, and playback

  • OpenAI | AI text and voice processing

  • Pinecone | retrieval and search infrastructure for AI-related content experiences

  • Stripe | eligible payment and donation processing

  • Apple Pay | eligible payment and donation processing

  • Mailchimp | newsletter or communication signups, if used

Your use of those services may also be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest

  • Secure authentication with optional multi-factor authentication (MFA)

  • Biometric app lock (Face ID / Touch ID) for additional device-level security

  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse

  • AI content moderation with fail-closed safety design

  • Regular security audits

  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel

  • Automatic session timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the App, provide the services you request, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

In general:

  • Account and profile data may be retained while your account remains active

  • Quiz, devotional, and progress data may be retained while needed for app functionality

  • Subscription and payment-related records may be retained as required for accounting, legal, tax, fraud prevention, or platform obligations

  • Crash and performance data may be retained for troubleshooting and app stability purposes

  • Customer support records may be retained for follow-up and service quality purposes

For voice AI:

  • We do not intentionally store raw audio recordings in your account or our own app database

  • We do not intentionally store voice transcripts in your account or our own app database

When you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify personal data as required by our systems, legal obligations, and technical limitations.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, while we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as:

  • Accessing the personal data we hold about you

  • Correcting inaccurate information

  • Requesting deletion of your account or personal data

  • Opting out of optional features such as notifications or fitness tracking

  • Requesting help with account-related data questions

10. Children's Privacy

WOWLife+ is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and, where appropriate, delete the information.

If a user is under 18, parental or guardian involvement may be required depending on applicable law and the way the App is used.

11. International Use

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards where required.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
