Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the WOWLife+ app (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

The App is operated by WOW Media Productions (Pvt) Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us"). Certain payments described in these Terms may be processed by third parties and/or paid to an affiliated nonprofit entity as described below.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

​

3. Account Registration

  • You may create an account using email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions, Donations, and Payments

4.1 Premium Subscription

The App offers optional premium subscriptions with enhanced features.

Monthly | $9.99/month

Annual | $99.99/year

Prices may vary by region and may change over time. The price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase controls.

4.2 Billing for Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

4.3 Voluntary Donations ("Sowing")

The App may include a voluntary donation feature labeled "Sowing" or similar.

Donations:

  • are voluntary;

  • do not unlock, gate, or restrict any content or features in the App;

  • may be processed through Stripe or its affiliates as payment processors; and

  • support Apple Pay where available, and may offer additional payment methods depending on your device, region, and processor availability.

Donation Recipient: Donations are intended for Wowlife Inc, a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN: 86-3405088, Katy, Texas, USA), or another clearly disclosed charitable recipient shown in the donation flow.

​

Charitable Status: Wowlife Inc is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization. Supporting documentation may be made available on request or provided to relevant platform reviewers where needed.

​

Refunds for Donations: Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe a donation was made in error or was unauthorized, please contact us promptly and/or your payment provider.

​

Receipts: Donation receipts may be provided electronically for your records. Tax treatment, if any, depends on your jurisdiction and personal circumstances.

​

4.4 Subscription Refunds

Subscription refund requests must be directed to Apple through Apple's standard refund process. We do not directly process App Store subscription refunds.

​

5. Acceptable Use

When using the App, you agree not to:

  • use the App for any unlawful purpose;

  • attempt to bypass content restrictions, security measures, paywalls, or rate limits;

  • submit abusive, harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content through AI or other interactive features;

  • attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or inject prompts into AI systems to produce prohibited content or obtain restricted information;

  • share your account credentials with others;

  • use bots, scrapers, or abusive automation to access the App;

  • interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks;

  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where expressly permitted by law; or

  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

We may apply moderation, filtering, abuse detection, or safety controls to some features. Violations may result in warnings, feature limits, suspension, or termination.

6. AI Features

The App includes AI-powered features that may include Ask WOW, AI devotionals, AI playlists, AI video assistance, and voice-based AI interactions (collectively, "AI Features").

6.1 General AI Terms

  • AI-generated content is provided for informational and inspirational purposes only.

  • AI content does not constitute medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

  • AI responses may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unintended outputs.

  • You are responsible for how you interpret and use AI-generated content.

  • AI Features may be subject to usage limits, feature restrictions, subscription gating, and periodic changes.

6.2 Voice AI

If you choose to use voice-based AI features:

  • the App may request access to your device microphone;

  • your spoken input may be processed by third-party AI providers in order to understand your request and generate a response;

  • we do not intentionally store raw audio recordings in your account or our own app database; and

  • we do not intentionally store voice transcripts in your account or our own app database.

Voice processing may occur transiently as part of delivering the feature.

6.3 AI Content Sources

Some AI outputs may be grounded in sermon transcripts, church teachings, devotional materials, or other resources available to the App. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be complete, authoritative, or perfectly representative of any source.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All content provided through the App, including videos, sermons, devotionals, graphics, text, quizzes, branding, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to WOW Media Productions (Pvt) Ltd. or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from App content except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create and submit through the App, such as devotional entries, prompts, quiz responses, playlists, or other submitted material.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and enforce the App and these Terms.

7.3 Trademarks

"WOWLife," "WOW Life Church," "WOWLife+," "WOW Media," "Works of Wonder," and associated names, logos, and marks are trademarks of WOW Media Productions (Pvt) Ltd. or its affiliates. You may not use them without prior written permission.

8. Video Streaming & Live Streaming

The App provides access to on-demand and live video content and may rely on third-party platforms, including Vimeo, for delivery and playback.

Live streams depend on scheduling, internet availability, device capability, and third-party platform performance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free streaming.

​

9. Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications for new content, live streams, announcements, reminders, and related updates.

You can manage notification preferences through the App or your device settings. Disabling notifications may limit certain alerts and reminders.

​

10. Health and Fitness Features (WOW Move)

The App may include optional health and fitness features, including WOW Move.

These features:

  • are intended for general wellness and activity support only;

  • are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment;

  • may provide estimates that vary by person, device, and conditions; and

  • should be used responsibly and at your own discretion.

Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning a new exercise or wellness program, especially if you have any health concerns.

If the App requests motion, fitness, or related permissions, you may decline or revoke them in your device settings, though some features may not function properly without them.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time. You may also request account deletion through available in-app tools or by contacting us.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the App or your account if:

  • you violate these Terms;

  • you misuse the App or AI Features;

  • we are required to do so by law;

  • your use creates security, legal, or operational risk; or

  • we reasonably believe action is necessary to protect users, the App, or third parties.

Where appropriate, we may attempt to notify you before termination.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;

  • any content will always be accurate, complete, or reliable; or

  • defects will be corrected within any particular timeframe.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WOW Media Productions (Pvt) Ltd., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid us for subscriptions in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or

  • USD $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WOW Media Productions (Pvt) Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

  • your use or misuse of the App;

  • your violation of these Terms; or

  • your infringement of another party's rights.

15. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including but not limited to Apple services, Google services, Firebase, Vimeo, OpenAI, Pinecone, Stripe, Apple Pay, and related infrastructure providers.

​

Your use of third-party services may be subject to those third parties' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, except as required by applicable law.

​

16. Apple Acknowledgement

These Terms are an agreement between you and WOW Media Productions (Pvt) Ltd., not Apple.

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the App, except as required by law.

To the extent permitted by law, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

​

For clarity, certain payment, donation, charitable, tax, or platform-related matters may also be subject to the laws or requirements of other jurisdictions or service providers.
