1. Two ways to delete your account

You can delete your WOWLife+ account and its associated data at any time. You do not need the app installed to make the request.

From inside the app (fastest)

Open Profile → Delete Account and confirm. Deletion runs immediately and your account is signed out.

By email (no app required)

Email office@wowmedia.lk from the address registered to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify ownership of the address before acting, then delete the account and confirm by reply.

If you sign in with Google, send your request from that same Google address so we can match it to your account.

2. What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your sign-in credentials and authentication record

• Your profile — name, email address and profile photo

• Watch history, watch progress and saved playlists

• Your notification inbox, read state and push-notification tokens

• AI chat sessions, AI usage records and any files you uploaded to AI features

• Devotional plans, devotional progress and reminder settings

• Quiz attempts, quiz statistics and challenge entries

• Prayer sessions and personal bests

• Subscription entitlement records held by us

• Activity records and any partner points

This is immediate and irreversible. We cannot restore a deleted account, and the same email address can be used to create a new one afterwards.

3. What is kept, and why

Donation records are anonymised rather than deleted. We are required to retain financial records. When you delete your account we strip the personal information from them — your email address is removed, the name is replaced with “Deleted User”, and the link to your account is severed. What remains is an unattributed transaction record.

Deleting your WOWLife+ account does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and must be cancelled in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancel your subscription before deleting your account, otherwise billing continues.

4. How long it takes

In-app deletion completes straight away. Email requests are actioned within 30 days of us verifying the request, and usually much sooner. Residual copies may persist briefly in routine encrypted backups before those backups cycle out.
